Angel Tree Ministry
Through the Angel Tree ministry, Sixth Avenue brings the
love of Christ year-round to prisoners' kids in the greater Birmingham area.
Each year as the names of children are received, members make personal contact
with the parent or guardian and provide Christmas gifts. They also invite the
children to participate in the church’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible
School and the Back-to-School Rally. Members provide school supplies and extend
camping opportunities to the children as well.
