The Music Department at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church feels that the music...whether it is a gospel song, a great masterwork by Bach or Handel,an arrangement of an old hymn of the Church. or an African-American spiritual, is a blending of musical styles with a commitment to integrity, spirituality, quality, and the vision of the Church Ministry. The music ministry is a vital part of our worship. We offer three different adult choirs (Sanctuary Choir, Progressive Choir, Male Chorus) and the Praise Team, based on musical interest and a desire to worship God through music. All choirs participate in revival and minister with other Churches by invitation. Please come and join us in our music ministry!
